How to Plan for the Music of Your Ceremony

Prelude Music is usually selected by your musicians. If you have a special request, we will include into our selection. 30 minutes of prelude music is recommended for seating of the guests and setting the right mood for your ceremony.

Please select your choice of music, or ask us for recommendations for the following parts of your ceremony.

 
  • Processional of the family/wedding party
  • Bridal processional
  • Interlude music if applicable
  • Special guest soloist
  • Recessional
  • Processional of the Family/Wedding Party
      – Decide on the following and inform the Amadeus Musicians
      
  • How many of your family members need to be seated?
  • How many members of the wedding party, including the ring bearer and the flower girl, are there?
  • Is the seating of the family separate from the processional of the wedding party?

  • Avoid fast-paced, march-like music for the processional of the family and wedding party in order to maximize the musical effect for the bride.
